Focal Home Improvements is a new business (established in 2020), specialising in the design and fitting of domestic windows and doors. Both locally and nationally, there are some very well recognised brands in the home improvement industry. The Founder of Focal Homes (Adam) believed there was a gap in the market that could be filled by establishing a business that puts “British Made” at the centre of their brand message.
His vision was to build on this message by delivering options for a bespoke design service and creating an outstanding customer experience. It was important that we understood this message from the outset, to ensure we brought his ideas to life. Our main focus, to deliver an eye-catchy website that will attract new audience and keep current audience engaged with an interesting content for home improvement and renovations.
The Challenge
The challenge was to stand out from the competition in a market where there is no shortage of other similar businesses providing similar services around the design and installation windows, doors, and conservatories, renovations and home improvement. The challenge for Focal was to stand out in a way that both surpasses the well-established competition, but also break away from the other side of the home improvement industry. At the same time, they wanted us to create the feel of a business that is attentive to the local market whilst also having the look and feel of well-established national brand.
Focal had to instantly become recognised for its expertise, professionalism and exceptional customer service, enough to put them head and shoulders above the noise that stigmatises parts of the industry. And to reach this milestone, it was our mission to bring their digital presence among the best interior design websites out there.
The solution
Taking on board the challenges set out above and listening carefully to Adam’s vision for Focal Homes’ future success, we quickly developed and agreed a project pathway to achieve that vision. The proposal centred on a modern feeling, straight forward, intuitive website experience that achieved the goal of turning visitors into leads and leads into sales. This solution was to enable Focal Homes to standout in a way the competition does not.
The result
